SECTION 1 — LEGAL RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (UK), you have 14 days from the date of receipt of your products to exercise your right of withdrawal, without needing to provide a reason or pay any penalty.

Once you have communicated your decision to withdraw within this 14-day window, you have a further 14 days to return the product(s) concerned.

Note: The right of withdrawal applies exclusively to orders delivered within the United Kingdom.

1.1 Exclusions from the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons once used — for example, in-ear audio accessories that have been worn, or waterproof/shower audio devices that have been used in wet or humid environments.
  • Opened goods that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or have missing parts for reasons not due to our error.

1.2 How to exercise your right of withdrawal

To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us by sending a clear written statement to [email protected], or by completing the Withdrawal Form included at the end of this policy.

Your communication must unambiguously express your intention to withdraw and reference the order concerned. Once your withdrawal notice has been sent within the applicable period, you must return the product(s) to us no later than 14 days from the date you sent your notice.

Important — deadline calculation: The day of receipt of the item is not counted in the return period. The period begins at the start of the first hour of the first day and ends at the close of the last hour of the final day. If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or UK public holiday, it is extended to the next business day.

The burden of proof for exercising the right of withdrawal lies with the customer.

SECTION 2 — COMMERCIAL RETURN PERIOD (30 DAYS)

In addition to your statutory rights, Norboz offers an extended return period of 30 days from the date of receipt of your products. This extended guarantee applies to all orders delivered within the United Kingdom.

For orders containing multiple products shipped separately, the 30-day period begins from the date of receipt of the last item in the order.

2.1 Conditions for return

To be eligible for a return, your item must:

  • Be in its original condition, with all components and accessories included.
  • Be returned in its original packaging where possible.
  • Be accompanied by your invoice or proof of purchase.

Items are not considered “used” solely because they have been unpackaged and briefly powered on to verify functionality, provided they show no signs of extended use, physical damage, or modification.

If the product has depreciated in value due to handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning, you may be held liable for that depreciation, and a deduction may be applied to your refund.

2.2 Sale items

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, items purchased on sale or during a promotion are eligible for a refund within the statutory 14-day withdrawal period only. Our extended 30-day commercial return period does not apply to sale items.

2.3 Items not eligible for return

Partial refunds or no refund may apply in the following situations:

  • Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • In-ear audio accessories that have been worn.
  • Waterproof or shower audio devices that have been used in wet or humid environments.

SECTION 3 — DEFECTIVE ITEMS

All items sold by Norboz are brand new and guaranteed against defects. They are sourced from verified suppliers and comply with applicable UK electrical safety standards, including UKCA marking requirements where applicable.

If your order arrives fully or partially defective, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for the affected item(s).

3.1 How to report a defect

Please do not return a defective item without contacting us first. Send an email to [email protected] including:

  • A written description of the defect(s).
  • Photos and/or videos clearly showing the defect.
  • Your invoice or proof of purchase.
  • Your preference: replacement or refund.

We will guide you through the return process once your case has been reviewed.

Please do not return the item to the manufacturer. All defective item returns must be authorised by Norboz first.

3.2 Your rights beyond 30 days (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

After the 30-day return period and within the first six months of purchase, Norboz reserves the right to attempt one repair or replacement before issuing a refund, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015. After six months, the burden of proof shifts to the customer to demonstrate that the fault was present at the time of delivery.

SECTION 4 — HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To initiate a return, please contact us at [email protected] with your proof of purchase before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior authorisation will not be accepted.

Once your return is authorised, we will provide you with return instructions and the return address.

No cash-on-delivery returns will be accepted under any circumstances.

SECTION 5 — RETURN SHIPPING

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except in the following cases:

  • The item was defective or damaged upon receipt.
  • We provided a prepaid return label.
  • The delivery was refused.

For items valued over £30, we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service. Norboz cannot guarantee receipt of items returned without tracking.

Return shipping fees are not refunded unless one of the above exceptions applies.

SECTION 6 — REFUNDS

6.1 Refund process

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will send you an email confirming receipt and notifying you of our decision. If approved, your refund will be processed and applied to your original payment method within 14 days of:

  • The date we receive the returned goods, OR
  • The date you provide proof of shipment — whichever occurs first.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method by default. If you prefer store credit instead, please let us know when contacting our support team.

Only the final price paid (after any discounts), plus the original standard delivery fee if applicable, will be refunded. If you expressly chose a delivery method more expensive than our standard option, we are not required to refund the additional cost.

6.2 Haven’t received your refund yet?

If you have not received your refund, please follow these steps:

  • Check your bank account again.
  • Contact your payment provider (bank, card issuer, or BNPL service such as Klarna or Clearpay) — there may be a processing delay.
  • Contact your bank directly.
  • If you still have not received it, contact us at [email protected].

6.3 Exchanges

We replace an item only if it is defective or damaged upon receipt. If you would like an exchange for the same item, please email us at [email protected]. For all other exchanges, we recommend returning your original item for a refund and placing a new order.
